The registration is open from 02 July 2025 to 30 October 2025 for Pre and Post Matric, and from 10 July 2025 to 20 December 2025 for Post Matric Other Than Intermediate.

Eligibility Criteria
Pre Matric (Class 9th & 10th)
Students who have passed Class 8 and are currently enrolled in Class 9 can apply for Class 9 scholarship. Students who have passed Class 9 and are enrolled in Class 10 can apply for Class 10 scholarship.
Post Matric (Class 11th & 12th)
Students who have passed Class 10 and are studying in Class 11 can apply for Class 11 scholarship. Students who have passed Class 11 and are enrolled in Class 12 can apply for Class 12 scholarship.
Dashmottar (Post Matric Other than Intermediate)
Students must be enrolled in any Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, or Certificate course in a recognized college or university.

Students applying for the UP Scholarship 2025-26 must keep the following documents ready before filling the online form:
Annual Non-Refundable Amount: Mention the total non-refundable fee amount for the current academic session.
Enrollment Number: Enter your valid enrollment or admission number issued by the school or college.
Aadhaar Card: A valid Aadhaar number is mandatory for identity verification.
Passport Size Photograph: Upload a recent color passport-size photograph.
Last Year Marksheet / Certificate: Attach the marksheet or certificate of the previous class passed.
Caste / Category Certificate: Required for students belonging to SC, ST, or OBC categories.
Income Certificate (Aay Praman Patra): Must be issued by the competent authority showing the family income details.
Bank Passbook: Upload a copy of your passbook clearly showing the account number and IFSC code.
Fees Receipt Number: Provide the latest tuition or admission fee receipt number.
For Renewal Candidates: Use the previous year’s scholarship registration number to log in and fill in the updated details.

How to Apply Online for UP Scholarship 2025-26
The Social Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh has started the UP Scholarship 2025-26 Online Application from 02 July 2025 through the official website scholarship.up.gov.in. Students can follow the steps below to complete their registration and application process:
One Time Registration (OTR): From the 2025-26 session, OTR is compulsory for all students. The process includes mobile number verification, Aadhaar e-KYC, and OTR number generation. Once completed, your OTR number will be shown on the screen and also sent to your registered mobile number.
Fill the Application Form: Log in using your OTR number and fill all the required details carefully — such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, address, and educational qualification. Avoid any spelling mistakes.
Complete Registration: Enter your personal details like college name, father’s name, and mobile number. After successful registration, a unique registration number will be generated.
Upload Documents: Upload all necessary documents such as marksheet, income certificate, caste certificate, Aadhaar card, and bank details as per the instructions.
